Work while Studying in the US
Many of our programs require practical training in the form of a practicum, which consists of actual work experience.
- Curriculum Practical Training (CPT) is for students who are currently studying in their degree program. CPT is available to International students on the first day of their program since CPT satisfies the practicum requirements in the academic program.
- Optional Practical Training (OPT) occurs after graduation and is limited to 12 months; 24 month extension is available for STEM fields. (STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math degrees)
Broad range curriculum
The curriculum’s broad range of courses support the foundation for many different career paths.
Personalized attention and support
The support team behind each student (Academic Advisors, Deans, Faculty, Financial Aid, and Career Services) see each person as an individual and not as a number.
